1. About these terms
These terms apply when you access or use the Lorecasts app and related services. Lorecasts is operated under the name Ubermobi.com. By using Lorecasts, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Contact us at [email protected] for questions about these terms or the service.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a Lorecasts account. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise. If we learn that an account is held by someone under 18, we may suspend it while we review the matter and take steps to close the account, subject to applicable law.
3. Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in content you provide. You give Ubermobi.com a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, transmit, process and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and support Lorecasts and provide features you request, including analysis and personalisation. This permission includes using service providers acting on our behalf for those purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy. It does not transfer ownership of your content or permit us to use your selected memories for advertising. You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content and authorise this processing. You can stop using the service and request account deletion as described below; provider and legal retention may continue as explained in the Privacy Policy.
4. AI-generated material
Lorecasts may use automated systems to analyse selected memories and generate suggestions. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable and are for personal reflection and informational purposes—not professional, medical, mental-health, financial, legal or emergency advice. Use your own judgement and seek a qualified professional where appropriate.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Premium is offered as an automatically renewing monthly subscription. The current United States storefront reference price is US$14.99 per month. The price charged is the price displayed for your storefront at checkout, in its local currency and including any applicable taxes. No free trial is currently offered unless an introductory offer is specifically displayed to you before purchase.
Premium provides access to the features described in the app’s purchase screen, which may include additional Lorecasts, personalised chapter plans and ongoing guidance. Any limits on memory analysis, refreshes or other usage will be disclosed in the app before you subscribe. The features, renewal terms and price shown at checkout form part of the offer you accept.
On iOS, Apple processes the subscription and manages billing, cancellation and refund requests. Cancel through your Apple Account’s Subscriptions settings; deleting the Lorecasts app or account does not cancel the subscription. If subscriptions are offered on another platform, that platform’s checkout will show the applicable price and cancellation process. Nothing in these terms limits consumer guarantees, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt its operation, upload unlawful or harmful content, or use another person's content or personal information without appropriate permission.
7. Availability, changes and ending the service
We may change or temporarily suspend a feature for maintenance, safety, security, legal or operational reasons. Where reasonably practicable, we will give advance notice of material changes through the app or by email. If a change materially reduces a paid feature or otherwise materially disadvantages you, we will explain the change and its effective date and provide a reasonable opportunity to cancel before it takes effect, subject to applicable law and the storefront’s subscription rules. We will request renewed agreement where required by law.
If we decide to discontinue Lorecasts, we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable, explain what happens to account data, and provide any refund or other remedy required by law and the applicable app store. We may act sooner where required by law or necessary to address an urgent security or safety issue.
8. Suspension, termination, appeals and data export
You may stop using Lorecasts at any time and request account deletion through the in-app controls. A subscription must be cancelled separately with the store that billed you.
We may restrict or suspend an account where we have reasonable grounds to believe this is necessary because of a serious or repeated breach of these terms, suspected fraud, a security or safety risk, unlawful activity, or a legal requirement. Unless immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect people, the service or our legal position, we will give notice explaining the reason and, where practical, a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue before suspension. If we suspend or terminate access, we will tell you the reason and whether the action is temporary, unless law or security concerns prevent us from doing so.
You may ask us to review a suspension or termination by emailing [email protected]. Include the account email and any relevant information. We will review the request fairly and respond within 30 days where reasonably practicable. Where possible, the review will be handled by someone not involved in the original decision.
You may request an export of account information stored in Lorecasts by contacting support. We will verify your identity and provide data we can reasonably export, subject to legal, security and third-party rights. If you plan to delete your account, request an export first; deletion may permanently remove active account data and prevent a later export. Some progress, reflections and other information is stored only on your device and is not synced to our servers; preserve that information from the device before deleting the app or account. If we terminate your account, we will aim to make available data we can reasonably export for 30 days after notice, unless law, security or technical constraints require otherwise.
9. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Lorecasts provides reflective prompts and AI-generated material, not professional advice; you remain responsible for decisions you make using it.
10. Governing law, disputes and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the applicable laws of Australia. You and Ubermobi.com submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia, without limiting any right you have to bring a claim in another court or tribunal under non-excludable consumer law. If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Nothing in this process limits your right to contact a regulator or use a legal remedy.
